Learning objectives
The students practice how to define, design, create, present and describe an essentially non-trivial interactive visual application and its realization.
Content
The students work on a project of which the goal is to design, construct, and test a software system which contains a strong visual component. The topics for the projects are taken from areas such as Computer Graphics, Visualization, Human Computer Interaction, Information Visualization and GPU programming.

The students choose their project from a preselected list, after which they adapt the project to their liking by formulating requirements.

Typical projects contain elements from, for instance, 3D rendering and interaction; 3D geometric object modeling with implicit functions and/or polygonal meshes; simulation of 3D dynamic processes; visualization of open data.
